John Rich is a seasoned strategic communications professional with over a decade of experience helping startups, financial firms, and business leaders build powerful brands that drive growth. As the Founder or The Brand Bullpen, John specializes in developing comprehensive PR campaigns, creating engaging content strategies, and securing high-impact media placements that position his clients as industry leaders.

John’s career spans both the public and private sectors, beginning with his work on Capitol Hill He then transitioned to strategic communications, working with top-tier firms where he managed campaigns for Fortune 500 companies including Google and Uber, and successfully led a million-dollar ballot statewide ballot initiative.

His expertise extends across multiple industries, from his role as Senior Manager at Doma, where he oversaw their digital community’s growth, to his work with defense startups and private equity firms. John has secured media coverage in top-tier outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, and The New York Times, and has booked appearances on CNBC, Yahoo! Finance, and The Today Show.

John holds a degree from James Madison University and brings a unique blend of policy expertise, media relations acumen, and digital marketing savvy to every client engagement.
